http://www.surfbasar.com/forum/blog.php?b=431#comments Yes what you see is what you get!

JP is still probably the only windsurfboard company which does not use black resin to make glass fibre look like carbon.

Also on the Slalom boards we do not try to make it look like they have full carbon decks. If you check the look (except on the 76 and 82) - you will see the wood but no black material. Also on the JP website or in our brochure we do not say that our boards have full carbon decks.

For your information only the 76 and 82 have the full carbon decks the others only have carbon standing areas. It is simply not necessarry - as Antoine's and Micah's (they use normal production boards - according to the PWA rules) success has proofen. On small Slalomboards our riders even think it is not that good when the boards are super, super stiff as you normally use them in really windy and choppy conditions. Our 4 smaller slalom boards actually have full wood in top AND bottom and that makes them strong and stiff enough - but not too stiff.
Just the right mix between Power and control, that's make the difference!
The carbon is not the unique stuff who make a board successful, a bit more complicate than that.

Best regards
